Hand-Crafted Buddhist Compassion Bodhisattva, Chenrezig Statue
Chenrezig, also known as Avalokitesvara, is the bodhisattva who embodies the compassion of all Buddhas. Avalokitesvara has many forms, and one of the most renowned and recognized forms is Four armed Chenrezig. He listens to all the sentient beings who are in a challenging time.
This remarkable statue of four armed Chenrezig is hand-carved by our artists in copper body and gilded with genuine 24k gold. We've depicted him on the most intricately carved throne. The throne's base is also embedded with turquoise coral stone with fine craving; similarly, the lotus Patel is adorne with the slightly bigger blue turquoise stone. We depicted him sitting both legs crossed in a Dimond pose with a tranquil expression, and he is draped on a beautiful silk robe. He wears eight bodhisattva’s ornaments (fie jewel crown, earring, three necklaces, a belt, anklets, bracelets). His two front hands are in devotion in front of his jewel-draped heart. His upper left-hand clutches his special symbol, and on his left hand is a crystal rosary representing the never-ending cycle. While holding a white lotus in his left hand, he describes the liberation of sentient beings from the muddy waters of suffering and hellish realms to the pure states of enlightenment.
Legends have it that Chenrezig vowed never to rest until he helped all sentient beings from their suffering and samsara. Since his task was overwhelming and daunting at times, in the means to help everyone, he took many forms, the most prominent form of 1000arms and 11heads to reach out to many cries of suffering and to reach out to those who needed his help. In Tibet, he is known as "Chenrezig," and in East Asian countries, he is known as "Guānyīn."
