Located beside the sacred Great Stupa of Boudhanath, it continues to be home to highly respected monks, scholars, and practitioners dedicated to preserving authentic Buddhist teachings and rituals.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you have a particular monastery or Lama Lha within the Kathmandu Valley with whom you feel a personal connection, we would also be happy to arrange the consecration there whenever possible upon your request.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eHow is a Statue Consecrated?\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEvery handmade statue has a hollow interior, intentionally created so that it may be filled with sacred materials before being sealed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe consecration begins on an auspicious day selected by the monks. The statue is carefully cleaned and purified before being filled from the head to the lotus base with deity-specific mantra rolls, fragrant woods, blessed herbs, incense powders, sacred medicines, and other auspicious substances.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSpecial mantra rolls corresponding to the deity are placed near the heart of the statue, while additional sacred materials are arranged throughout the body according to traditional Buddhist practice. Consecration generally begins at \u003cstrong\u003eUSD $80\u003c\/strong\u003e for miniature statues, with the fee increasing according to the statue's size.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eThe Blessed Mantra Rolls Used:\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEvery statue is filled with \u003cstrong\u003emantra rolls corresponding specifically to the deity it represents\u003c\/strong\u003e. For example, a Manjushri statue is filled exclusively with Manjushri mantra rolls, while a Chenrezig statue receives Chenrezig mantra rolls.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRather than purchasing commercially printed mantra rolls, we obtain them directly from the monastery.
