Traditional Tibetan Amitayus Buddha Mantra Sculpture
The Bodhisattva Amitayus Buddha Mantra Sculpture has been expertly hand-sculpted in Nepal using traditional Himalayan techniques. Amitayus is shown carrying a vase in both hands while sitting on a lotus disc. An oxidized copper is used to create the body. For ages, the skill of creating such stunning sculptures has been handed down from generation to generation. We spent months carving the minute detail of the deity. Specialized craftsmanship was needed, especially for the elaborate decorations on the crown.
