Bodhisattva Amitayus Mantra Sanskrit Practice Statue
The Amitayus Mantra Sanskrit Practice Statue has been expertly hand-carved in Nepal's traditional Himalayan style. We have shown the deity in the statue as being peaceful and tranquil, sitting on a lotus seat atop a moon disc and holding a vase of amrita—the nectar of immortality—in both hands. The oxidized copper body served as the mold material. All the attributes of the deity are hand-craved using a hammer and chisels. This statue may be used for Buddhist rituals and other everyday pursuits like yoga and meditation.
