24K Gold Gilded Buddha Shakyamuni Sculpture
The traditional approach was used to create this seated Buddha Shakyamuni meditation statue. He is seen with his right hand outstretched to the soil, making the Bhumispara Mudra, or witness gesture. He sits serenely on a lotus throne, exuding glorious enlightenment. The statue is sculpted with devotion utilizing ancestors' traditional methods. The elaborate patterns on the statue required months and months of hard work. The left hand sits on his lap, palm up, implying Dhyana Mudra, and holding a begging bowl.
