Gold Gilded Buddha Shakyamuni Sculpture Tibet
The Buddha Shakyamuni Sculpture was entirely hand-carved in Nepal using traditional Himalayan art. The deity is depicted sitting over a moon disc lotus with both legs folded. Crafted from a copper body gilded with genuine 24k gold, the deities kasaya robes are embedded in multiple precious stones and jewels. His right hand slightly touches the ground beneath him while he holds an alms bowl with his left hand. This took us months and months of dedication in our studio. Alongside the layer of gold, we have used acrylic paintings. The combination of colors highlights the fine details in the statue. We assure you that the materials used for the statue are of the highest quality and will last for years.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
