Traditional Handcrafted Himalayan Buddhist White Tara Sculpture
The Buddhist White Tara Sculpture was crafted in our studio in Kathmandu with traditionally crafted skills that have been passed down from generations. The statue has been carved from a copper body and gilded with genuine 24k genuine gold. We portrayed Mother Tara in the Dimond posture, seated in a lotus seat with a serene look. She has seven eyes—one on her forehead, one on each of her hands and feet—which symbolizes her compassionate attentiveness to the suffering of others. This beautiful statue took our artists months to complete and will be the perfect gift for a practitioner like you from Nepal.

White Tara is known as Female Buddha in the Buddhist tradition. White Tara appears in the form of a female Bodhisattva and goddess for the benefit of every living being. All the Buddhas granted her empowerment from ten directions for which she became The GREAT MOTHER from whom all the Buddhas spring forth, and one who possesses transcendental wisdom.
