Finely Hand-Carved White Tara Art, the Female Bodhisattva of Compassion
This White Tara Art is an intricately handcrafted piece produced in our studio and designed with unique Nepali motifs. White Tara is shown in the statue in her characteristic stance, calmly seated in a lotus position on a moon disc lotus seat. She has a total of five eyes, two on her face, one on her forehead, and two on each of her hands, signifying her capacity to see past the limits of the material world and into the realm of enlightenment. She performs the 'Prithvi mudra,' with her right hand representing stability and healing, while her left hand performs the 'Varada mudra,' a gesture of charity. She is bejeweled with precious gemstones like the turquoise meticulously placed by our artists.
This statue was hand-carved out of copper, gilded in gold, acrylic painted, and has an antique finish adding an element of antiquity. This piece is an excellent souvenir for any devotee like yourself and can be used in your daily practices and activities of meditation and yoga.
