Description

Traditional Himalayan Statue For Guru Padmasambhava Teachings

The perfectly designed Himalayan Statue For Guru Padmasambhava Teachings was traditionally made with a copper body and gilded with 24k real gold. In regal garb, Padmasambhava (Rinpoche) stands on a lotus moon disc holding a Khatanvga in his right hand and a bowl in his left. The body is hand-painted delicately with acrylic paints. The statue features a semi-wrathful countenance following the symbolism. The halo beautifully illuminates his body, and the intricately carved lotus seat is stunning. We worked diligently for years to carve complex design patterns. We used a hammer and small chisels to hand-carve the intricate design patterns. To do delicate carvings, artists must have decades of experience as he has to create intricate design patterns on a small surface area. The figurine weighs about 13.3 kg, and it took us years of hard work and dedication to complete it.

This figurine of Lotus Born Guru Rinpoche will be a perfect gift from Nepal to a devotee like you that will aid you in your practices and regular activities such as meditation and yoga.

For most Himalayan Buddhists, Guru Rinpoche is the second Buddha, the Buddha of all forms and teachings of enlightenment, focusing on the tantras. Tantra teaches us to initially see our instructors as Guru Rinpoche, just as the Great Way leads us to see our enlightened nature and name it buddha-nature. Then we view everything as Guru Rinpoche, down to the atoms of our bodies, all beings equally, and every scrap of every blade of grass, every grain of sand. Finally, it is Guru Rinpoche who we realize when we recognize our natural, timeless awareness.
