Traditional Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Statue
Ksitigarbha is a Mahayana transcendent Bodhisattva. He sits atop the moon disc on a lotus seat with a serene and peaceful expression. He is also the most well-known Bodhisattva on the earth and the most adored and revered by Buddhists. He is depicted as a Buddhist monk who has pledged to guide all humans until hell is emptied.
