Ksitigarbha Statue | Himalayan Buddhist Deity
Ksitigarbha is one of the four principle Bodhisattvas. He is known as Jizō Bosatsu in Japanese Buddhism where Ji means earth and Zō means womb. He is also known as the Womb of the Earth. He is considered as a protector of children and travelers. His short mantra is "OM AH KSHITT GARBHA THALENG HUM".
