Hand Crafted Buddhist Deity Kurukulla Dakini Sculpture
This beautifully handcrafted sculpture of Kurukulla Dakini was sculpted in our studio, we are Buddhist deity sculpting artisans, and our crafts of statue making have been passed down from generations. Kurukulla, also known as the Red tara. The Dakini is shown with a wrathful expression and hair that flows upward like blazing fire. She's dancing with her right leg raised, stomping on a defeated human, illustrating both external and internal issues. She has four arms and a variety of weapons, implying her ability to enchant and captivate both men and women. She prepares to shoot a magnificent gold-crafted arrow with a flower-detailed shaft, using two hands to draw a gold bow. Her other left hand is holding a lasso, and her right hand is holding a flower goad that has been beautifully silver gold crafted.

Kurukulla is an aspect of Tara, and she is also known as Red Tara. Her Tibetan name is Rigjyedma, meaning “she who is the cause of knowledge.” She bestows these qualities upon her followers, enabling them to sway others to their wishes and fulfill their desires. Her powerful charms also will allow her to lead straying practitioners back to the path of Dharma compassionately.
