Traditionally Sculpted Large Shakyamuni Buddha Statue

We have exquisitely hand-carved the large statue of Shakyamuni Buddha in the traditional Himalayan Art of Nepal. We have adorned the robe with magnificent turquoise and gemstones, which is mesmerizing. In this Buddhist art, we have depicted Gautama Buddha, also known as Siddartha Gautama, on top of a moon disc lotus seat with a tranquil expression. We have also embellished the lotus seat with valuable corals and pearls, which are rare in Vajrayana statues. You can use this artwork in your regular meditational or yoga activities and different Buddhist auspicious rituals. His left-hand holds an alms bowl while his right hand is on earth touching mudra. This art of Himalayan will be a tremendous gift from Nepal to a practitioner like you.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
