Hand-Carved Maitreya Future Buddha Sculpture

The Maitreya Future Buddha Sculpture was expertly hand-carved in our studio using traditional Himalayan techniques. We molded the figurine using copper and gilded it using genuine 24K gold. We adorned valuable jewels, coral, and rare turquoise in a body of pure copper. Here in the statue, the deity is depicted seated on a throne. The throne is artistically is design and crafted using different figurines as part of decorations. The deity places his foot the lotus seat. We used a hammer and small chisels to hand-carve the intricate design patterns. To do delicate carvings, artists must have decades of experience as he has to create intricate design patterns on a small surface area. He has to fulfill every minute detail on the statue based on the traditional iconography in Buddhist scriptures. It took us years of craftmanship to complete the figurine.
