24k Gold Gilded Statue of Healing Deity Medicine Buddha
With the craftsmanship passed down to us from master artisans of traditional Himalayan sculpting art. We created this beautifully carved gold statue of Medicine Buddha in our studio, Kathmandu, Nepal. We used a copper body and gilded the entire sculpture with genuine 24k gold. The intricate design of the robe and the lotus is one of the highlights of the statue. We depicted him sitting on a lotus seat with a calm expression while holding a herbal plant with his right hand while slightly touching the ground. He carries an Alms bowl which contains the long-life nectar in his left hand.

Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaishajyaguru in Sanskrit, is regarded as the Buddha of Healing. His teachings aim to free sentient beings from sickness, pain, anguish, and unhappiness while also emphasizing the need to acquire prosperity and enjoyment in this life. Many meditators in the Mahayana tradition admire his healing abilities. He is frequently shown with a blue (lapis lazuli) body and hands carrying a begging bowl and medical herbs.
