The Medicine Buddha Lapis Lazuli statue was traditionally hand crafted by the artists of Nepal. The term Lapis Lazuli, is also known as the medicine Buddha or the Bhaiṣajyaguru. The body of the statue is made from a copper body and then gilded with 24k genuine gold. The statue depicts the goddess seated upon a moon disc lotus with a serene and peaceful expression. He holds an alms bowl in his left hand and slightly touches the ground with his right hand while holding a stem of a lotus flower. His face is beautifully illuminated by the gold-plated halo, and the intricately carved lotus seat is stunning.
