Miralepa Tibetan Buddhist Master Statue, Handmade Sculpture
We, the Kathmandu Valley artisans, created this magnificent Milarepa Guru Yoga Statue in the traditional Himalayan manner. Buddhist meditation places a high value on Nepali sculpture as it has been passed down through the generations. The deity is usually pictured holding his right palm to his ear, as is customary for Himalayan and Indian singers, to help him hear better and drown out background noise, while his left hand is holding the skull cup. The Monastic robe is 24 gold gilded.
This figure may be used for various Buddhist rituals and meditation exercises, making it the ideal present for a practitioner like you.

Milarepa is known for his tenacity and growth as a person and the way his intriguing history illustrates the journey that every individual takes from bewilderment to clarity. He instilled the values of privilege and tyranny in him at a young age. For a thousand years, Milarepa's lyrical teachings have enchanted the hearts of his devotees and admirers. His life exemplifies the perfect Bodhisattva because his extreme compassion sparked Bodhicitta and drove him to become a Buddha to help all sentient beings.
