This Statue representing Guru Rinpoche, also known as Guru Padmasambhava is a stunning, handmade piece. Standing at 19.2 inches tall, this beautifully crafted resin statue is a symbol of mindfulness and wisdom. Its intricate design symbolizes the Lotus Born Master, an enlightened being who inspires inner peace and spiritual guidance.
Handmade in traditional Himalayan art of Nepal by master artists, the Guru statue is constructed on a copper alloy with gold painting on his face and silver plating on his body; the statue is a one-of-a-kind piece. The use of painting on the statue is also very beautiful. He is depicted sitting atop of moon disc of a lotus, holding the vajra scepter in his right hand, left hand placed in the lap holds a white skullcup filled with nectar, jewels, and a long-life vase. The ornate katvanga staff rests against the left shoulder. Adorned with earrings and necklaces, the head is covered with a lotus hat, a gift of the King of Zaho.
