Seated Shakyamuni Buddha Art of Himalayan

Shakyamuni Buddha is seated with crossed legs atop a moon disc lotus seat traditionally sculpted in Himalayan art. A gold robe embraces the shoulders and extends around the body and legs. The halo behind his serene face is exquisitely handcrafted and embedded with pure 24k gold. We have crafted this exquisite Buddha statue in a pure copper body and gilded it with 24k gold. It took more than a month to complete with more than two artists of Kathmandu valley whose artisan has passed from generation to generation.

He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
