Made from a copper body gilded with 24k genuine gold and finely painted the statue with acrylic paint, highlighting the design of the deity. Seated atop a lotus throne which was handcrafted and embedded in multiple precious stones. With two lotus flowers blooming from the base of the throne and a gold halo illuminating the statue. This one of a kind statue of the Shakyamuni Buddha took our artist months to complete with every detail given perfect intricate design patterns all over the statue. Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
