Hand-Carved Simhamukha Sculpture
The Simhamukha Sculpture was handcrafted by Nepalese craftsmen utilizing traditional crafting methods in our studio. Simhamukha is one of the most well-known female Tantric deities in all Tibetan Buddhist traditions. She is holding a grave knife in her right hand and a skull cup in her left. She is standing on a corpse with her right leg in the air, clutching a khatvanga stick in the crook of her left arm. She dances with her right leg flexed and her left leg straight. She has three eyes, and her bare body is covered with different body ornaments. We have gilded the face with genuine 24K gold. At the same time, the body ornaments, part of the halo flames, and the trident are silver-plated. To highlight the facial attributes of the deity, we have used acrylic paintings.
This Simhamukha has accurate traditional iconography and fine details and will be a perfect gift to a devotee like you from Nepal.

Simhamukha, the female Buddha, has a lioness' face and a woman's physique. Her leonine face gleams with the sudden awareness of enlightenment. Her mouth is always open, roaring with uncontrollable rage and exultant laughter. Simhamukha embodies the elemental vigor on the prowl or sprinting after her prey. She represents an unstoppable flood of energy that has leveled everything in its path. Her ferocious, feral demeanor embodies the ferocity necessary for people seeking ultimate reality.
