24k Gold Gilded Hand carved Tibetan Green Tara Sculpture
In our workshop in Nepal, we traditionally hand-carve the statue of the Tibetan Green Tara Sculpture by our most skilled artists. Carved from a copper body, gilded with genuine 24k gold over various parts of the body and further highlighted by the silver electroplating done over the robes, lotus flowers and the nimbus disk. Seated upon a moon disc lotus with a peaceful expression with her right hand performing an earth-touching mudra, and her left hand is in the vitarka mudra while she holds an utpala in both hands. The statue took months to flawless carve with intricate design patterns. This figure may be used for a variety of Buddhist rites as well as daily exercises like yoga and meditation.

Tara is the savior, the personification of compassion, the one who reaches out and freely replies to everyone who is suffering. Tara is courageous and generous to a fault. Green Tara and White Tara are her most popular incarnations, though she occasionally appears as Red Tara in Dakini form. "Om tare tuttare ture svaha," says Green Tara. White Tara's mantra is "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha," which means "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha."
