Tibetan Sgrol-ljang Sculpture, Self Born Buddha
Tibetan Sgrol-ljang Sculpture was traditionally handcrafted by the master craftsmen of Nepal. Green Tara is known as Shyamatara in Sanskrit and Sgrol-ljang in Tibetan and is one of the most well-known of the 21 Tara. We have crafted the statue using a copper body and gilded with 24k genuine gold over the body of the statue. We specialize in creating authentic iconographic representations of Buddhist holy deities through sculpture. The female goddess clutches an utpala in both hands with her left hand in the vitarka mudra and her right hand in the earth-touching mudra and is seen seated serenely on top of a moon disc lotus seat. The statue is decorated with numerous precious stones over the body ornaments, crown, lotus moon disc and the halo which illuminates the deities face. The statue took our artists months of hard work, perfecting the intricate design patterns of the goddess.
For a devotee like you, this figure will be the ideal present from Nepal and support your regular practices and endeavors, such as yoga and meditation.

Green Tara is the manifestation from where all of Tara's other forms emerge, connected with enlightened action and active compassion. Tara is the most revered Tibetan Buddhist pantheon's female enlightened deities. She is "the mother of all buddhas" and "she who ferries beings over the ocean of samsara" since she is the embodiment of enlightened love and compassion.
