Measuring 21.06”/53.5 cm in height with a 14.17”/36 cm base and weighing 9.44 kg, this Medicine Buddha is crafted from a copper body using the traditional lost-wax casting technique.
The statue is richly finished with 24K gold gilding, gold painting, and acrylic painting, allowing every intricate detail to stand out with remarkable clarity. From the ornamental patterns on the robes to the individual petals of the lotus base, the craftsmanship reflects the exceptional metalwork tradition for which Patan is renowned.
