Dzambhala (Jambhala) is the revered Wealth Deity in Vajrayana Buddhism. Unlike the ordinary idea of wealth, Dzambhala symbolizes prosperity grounded in compassion, abundance that nurtures spiritual growth, generosity, and overall well-being. He embodies the enlightened qualities of prosperity, protection from poverty, and the deeper richness of a stable and flourishing life.

Dzambhala is regarded as an emanation of Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig), the Bodhisattva of Compassion. Because of this origin, his purpose is rooted in helping beings overcome hardship, remove obstacles, cultivate generosity, and experience abundance in every aspect of life.
