Amitayus, meaning "Boundless Life," is a celestial Buddha revered in Tibetan Buddhism for his association with longevity, health, and spiritual merit. Practising Amitayus meditation is believed to help overcome life-threatening obstacles, extend one's lifespan, and purify negative karma, thus fostering a conducive environment for spiritual development.
