Ratnasambhava Sacred Statue | Embodiment of Equality, Abundance, and Enlightened Wisdom
Ratnasambhava Sacred Statue measures 16.14”/41cm in height with an 11.61”/29.5cm base and weighs 6.04 kg. Handcrafted in Nepal from a copper body, the sculpture is finished with 24K gold gilding, detailed acrylic painting, and carefully placed gemstones that enrich the surface with luminosity, color, and refined decorative depth. Its balanced proportions and meticulous finishing reflect the precision of skilled Nepalese artisans and the enduring traditions of Himalayan Buddhist metalwork. Spiritually, the figure is associated with generosity, abundance, equanimity, and the transformation of pride into the wisdom of equality, making this piece meaningful for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, Dharma centers, monasteries, or sacred collections.
This Ratnasambhava Buddha is depicted seated in the full vajra posture upon a richly carved lotus pedestal, with his right hand extended downward in varada mudra, the gesture of supreme generosity and compassion, while his left hand rests in his lap in meditation mudra and holds the cintamani, the wish-fulfilling jewel. His serene face features gently lowered eyes, a subtle smile, elongated earlobes, and a prominent ushnisha, reflecting the traditional Buddha appearance. His monastic robe is richly decorated with finely engraved patterns and ornamental borders, while the large circular aureole behind him features concentric rings that frame the figure. The lotus pedestal is elaborately carved with layered petals and decorative detailing. Crafted from a copper body and finished with 24K gold gilding, acrylic painting, and gemstones, the sculpture combines traditional Buddhist iconography with refined Himalayan craftsmanship.

Ratnasambhava Buddha originates in Indian Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhist traditions and later became an important figure within Tibetan Buddhism. He is one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas and is traditionally associated with the southern direction, generosity, abundance, and the wisdom of equality. His name is commonly understood as “Jewel-Born” or “Origin of Jewels,” reflecting his connection with spiritual richness and the recognition of equal Buddha-nature in all beings. In Tibetan Buddhist practice, he is especially associated with transforming pride and miserliness into generosity, equanimity, and enlightened awareness.
