Expertly handcrafted from copper, covered with 24K gold gilding. Bodhisattva Akashagarbha is depicted seated upon a lotus base, wearing a multi-pointed crown that radiates the brilliance of enlightened wisdom. In his left hand, he delicately holds a utpala (blue lotus) that supports a flaming sword, representing the sharp wisdom that cuts through ignorance and illuminates the path to enlightenment.
