The statue's copper body is gilded with gold, which gives it its luster and brilliance. The Buddha is depicted sitting serenely in a lotus posture atop a moon disc lotus seat with an alms bowl over his lap carried by his two hands while performing the 'Dhyan Mudra,' a characteristic that embodies the mind to go deep into meditation, to reflect and contemplate. His Unisha and serene facial expression has been beautifully highlighted with acrylic paints. The addition of jewels to the statue beautifies the statue more.
