The Buddha is depicted in this statue serenely seated on a moon disc lotus, with an alms bowl on his lap and his hands in the correct posture of a "Dhyan Mudra," which is a signature hand gesture of Amitabha Buddha. The serene facial expression of the Medicine Buddha is beautifully highlighted with acrylic paints.
