Description

Sacred Amitayus Dharani Buddha Statue | Hand-Carved Tibetan Art for Longevity and Prosperity

This finely made Amitayus Dharani statue, reaching 10.4 inches tall, is a magnificent representation of the Buddha of Longevity. This statue of Amitayus, the Tibetan Buddhist god associated with long life, health, and wealth, is handcrafted from the finest copper and gilded with 24K gold. This piece's meticulous craftsmanship, which includes elaborate acrylic paintings and carefully inlaid jewels, makes it an excellent complement to any Buddhist altar or sacred area.

We have depicted the deity in the statue as being peaceful and tranquil, seated on a lotus seat atop a moon disc and holding a vase of amrita, the nectar of immortality, in both hands. For molding the figurine, we used copper. The utpala, various body ornaments, and crown are all custom-made with intricate design patterns. The ornaments, crown, and robe have also been traditionally adorned with valuable gemstones and pearls. You can use this statue for different Buddhist Rituals and other regular activities such as meditation and yoga.

Amitayus, of the Aparimitagunasamchaya or Amitavyhavat pure world, is usually shown in his apparitional buddha form (sambhogakaya), red in color, wearing a crown and jewels, and holding a long-life vase over two hands in a meditation gesture. A Buddha is said to have three bodies in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition: a form body (nirmanakaya), an apparitional body (sambhogakaya), and an ultimate truth body (sambhogakaya) (dharmakaya).
