Handcrafted Amitayus Golden Statue | Home Decor for Peace

This handcrafted Amitayus golden statue, also known as the Buddha of Infinite Life, weighs 1.84 kg and measures 9.2”/23.5cm in height and 7.3”/18.5cm at the base. It is made of copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. This sculpture is handcrafted by expert Nepalese artisans, elegantly symbolizing Himalayan Buddhism's sacred traditions, making it an appropriate addition to altars, meditation places, or sacred collections.

Amitayus is portrayed as a serene and compassionate deity, as a bodhisattva adorned in rich silk robes and ornate jewelry, reflecting his sambhogakaya, the celestial enjoyment body. He wears a five-pointed crown representing the Five Wisdoms of the Buddha, symbolizing the enlightened mind in its perfected aspects. Seated in the vajra posture atop a lotus throne, he embodies spiritual purity and detachment from worldly distractions. His hands rest in the dhyana mudra, the gesture of deep meditation, cradling a Long Life Vase (Kalasha) filled with amrita, the nectar of immortality. This sacred vessel represents longevity and the power to remove obstacles to a long and meaningful life. The lotus seat beneath him signifies spiritual awakening and the unfolding of enlightenment.
