Handcrafted Amitayus Long Life Mantra Practice Statue for Long Life

We created this stunning Amitayus Long Life Mantra Practice statue in our studio using a traditional Himalayan carving technique passed down from generation to generation from Nepal. This figure is hand-carved out of oxidized copper that provides an elegant classic look. In the statue, Amitabha Buddha is depicted serenely seated on a moon disc lotus, holding an alms bowl in each hand while making the Amitabha Buddha signature gesture known as the "Dhyan Mudra." The statue is full of intricate details, from the folds of his robe to the delicate pattern of his hair.

It is the perfect keepsake for devout individuals like yourself, suitable for use in Buddhist rituals, and will make a magnificent addition to your altar.

Amitayus, of the Aparimitagunasamchaya or Amitavyhavat pure world, is usually shown in his apparitional buddha form (sambhogakaya), red in color, wearing a crown and jewels, and holding a long-life vase over two hands in a meditation gesture. A Buddha is said to have three bodies in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition: a form body (nirmanakaya), an apparitional body (sambhogakaya), and an ultimate truth body (sambhogakaya) (dharmakaya).
