Description

Buddhist Deity Of Long Life Amitayus Sadhana Sculpture

We used traditional Nepalese Himalayan art to craft the Amitayus Sadhana Sculpture. This traditional Buddhist sculpture was molded using methods passed down through the generations of our forefathers. Amitayus Statue is hand-made with a copper body delicately painted with acrylic paint and gilded with 24k real gold. We have hand-painted the deity with the red hue of acrylic paint. While the crown, silk scarf, and body ornaments had visible gold gilding. Amitayus is seated on a moon disc lotus seat in dhyana mudra, holding a vase. The crown, body ornaments, vase, robe, and lotus seat are adorned with precious gemstones. We used a hammer and small chisels to hand-carve the intricate design patterns. To do delicate carvings, artists must have decades of experience as he has to create intricate design patterns on a small surface area.

The Amitayus Buddha Statue has all the accurate characteristics and symbols to aid your meditation practice.

Amitayus, of the Aparimitagunasamchaya or Amitavyhavat pure world, is usually shown in his apparitional buddha form (sambhogakaya), red in color, wearing a crown and jewels, and holding a long-life vase over two hands in a meditation gesture. A Buddha is said to have three bodies in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition: a form body (nirmanakaya), an apparitional body (sambhogakaya), and an ultimate truth body (sambhogakaya) (dharmakaya).
