Traditionally Hand Carved Statue of Chenrezig or Avalokiteshvara
We are the artist of Kathmandu who has sculpted the sculpture of Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteshvara, in the traditional Himalayan Art of Nepal. We have designed and crafted the statue in pure copper and gilded it with genuine 24k gold. We have magnificently adorned the crown with precious turquoise and elegantly embellished the ornaments with valuable gems and corals. We have depicted a deity seated atop a moon disc lotus seat with a serene expression, holding the crystal rosary in his upper right hand and lotus in his upper left hand, respectively. He also has the wish-fulfilling jewels in both his lower hands. This exquisite indoor art will be a tremendous meditation gift for a practitioner like you.

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
