Traditional Zen Medicine Buddha Sculpture for Bhaisajyaguru Mantra
We are Nepali artisans who used methods handed down to us through the years to hand-carve this exquisite Medicine Buddha Sculpture for Bhaisajyaguru Mantra. The statue's copper body has been expertly etched to reveal its distinctive design patterns. The god is seen sitting on a moon-shaped lotus seat and has a happy countenance. In his right hand, he is holding a myrobalan plant, and in his left, he is holding an alms bowl. We used a hammer and chisels to cut intricate design patterns into the robe manually. The throne where the lord sits makes the whole statue even more supreme and divine.
