Oxidized Copper Statue For Bhaisajyaguru Mantra-Sanskrit Practice

We are the ancient Vajrayana statue sculptors from Nepal and have intricately hand-carved the Healing Medicine Buddha Sculpture in our studio. The deity in the statue is depicted seated on a moon disc atop a lotus throne. The molding of the body using oxidized copper took us months to complete. This exquisite sculpture will be a tremendous gift for meditational or yoga activities for a practitioner like you.

In the Tibetan Kangyur, the Buddha of Medicine is the focal point of three sutras. The twelve ambitions of the Buddha of Medicine are outlined in one sutra, the aspirations of the seven other medicine buddhas are outlined in another, and the dharanis or mantras of the countless Buddhas of treatment are outlined in the third sutra. He is also a prominent figure in the Four Medical Tantras, which form the basis of Tibetan medicine and numerous therapeutic sadhanas.
