We have masterfully hand-carved the Bhaisajyaguru Medicine Buddha statue in the traditional Himalayan style. The Buddha is depicted sitting serenely on a moon disc lotus seat, a myrobalan flower in his left hand and an alms bowl bearing the nectar of immortality in his right. This statue is a result of months of labor by our traditionally trained Vajrayan Artists that have hand carved this magnificent statue out of oxidized copper.
The intricate details on this statue will catch the eye and imbue any space with a sense of calm and serenity. Truly a perfect addition to your Buddhist shrine or can be used as a meditative accompaniment for yourself or for any devotee.

Medicine Buddha is a Healing deity described as a doctor who cures the suffering of a sentient being. Many meditators in the Mahayana tradition admire his healing abilities. He is frequently shown with a blue (lapis lazuli) body and hands carrying an alms bowl and medical herbs.
