Handmade Black Dzambhala Statue | Manifesting Abundance and Protection
Handmade Black Dzambhala Statue measures 15.55”/39.5cm in height with a 10.63”/27cm base and weighs 4.97 kg. Handcrafted by Nepalese artisans, its copper body is finished with 24K gold gilding, which lends a luminous surface to the carefully worked metal. Acrylic painting introduces rich color and definition, while handcarved gemstones add decorative detail, bringing together distinct materials through traditional Himalayan craftsmanship. Revered in Tibetan Buddhism for his association with wealth and the alleviation of poverty, this sacred figure serves as a meaningful presence on a Buddhist altar, encouraging generosity and the cultivation of prosperity in support of spiritual practice.
Black Dzambhala is depicted in a powerful wrathful form with a fierce expression, three eyes, bared teeth, and flaming orange-red hair rising dramatically above his head. He is seated in a dynamic posture with one leg extended and the other bent, while a reclining figure appears beneath his feet, emphasizing his forceful protective character. His hands are positioned prominently in front of the body, with a rounded, jewel-like object visible near the left hand. He wears an elaborate jeweled crown, large circular earrings, layered necklaces, bracelets, armlets, and richly detailed garments. A large flaming aureole completely surrounds the figure, filled with dense scrolling flame motifs and intricate ornamental carving. The lotus pedestal features multiple rows of individually carved petals with turquoise-colored decorative accents and finely patterned borders. The combination of the fierce facial expression, flowing hair, dynamic posture, elaborate ornaments, flaming aureole, and deeply carved pedestal creates a powerful and highly detailed Himalayan representation.
