Handcrafted Black Manjushri Statue of Power and Wisdom | Symbol of Insight and Strength

This handmade black Manjushri statue, measuring 6.5 inches, is a stunning representation of knowledge, power, and insight. The statue is crafted from oxidized copper, and every detail has been meticulously created to represent Manjushri's heavenly presence. The sword of knowledge, which is held up in the air, represents the cutting through of ignorance and the development of ultimate understanding.

He typically has one face and two arms, with a wrathful or semi-wrathful expression, featuring three glaring eyes and fangs, conveying his fierce compassion and power to overcome harmful influences. He is often depicted seated in the vajra posture or standing, with one leg bent and the other extended, signifying readiness for action. In his right hand, he holds a flaming wisdom sword raised aloft, symbolizing the cutting through of ignorance and delusion with sharp clarity and insight, with the flames emphasizing purification and transformative energy. His left hand holds the stem of a lotus flower on which the Prajnaparamita (Perfection of Wisdom) scripture rests, representing the embodiment of wisdom and the teaching of emptiness. Black Manjushri is adorned with a five-skull crown, representing the Five Wisdoms of the Buddha, each skull symbolizing the transformation of the five poisons (ignorance, desire, hatred, pride, and jealousy) into wisdom.
