Amitabha Buddha is depicted in Dhyana Mudra, with both hands in the lap, the right hand resting on the left, and the thumbs lightly touching. This symbolizes meditation and the attainment of enlightenment. Amitabha is seated on a lotus throne, symbolising purity, spiritual awakening, and transcendence over the cycle of birth and death. He is wearing simple monastic robes, signifying detachment from worldly concerns and commitment to the spiritual path. These robes are typically red, orange, or gold. Amitabha's face is serene, and his gentle smile reflects his boundless compassion and wisdom. His eyes are often half-closed in meditation. He has a cranial protuberance (ushnisha) on the top of his head, symbolising his supreme wisdom and attainment of enlightenment.

Amitabha Buddha, whose name means "Infinite Light," is the principal Buddha in Pure Land Buddhism. He presides over Sukhavati, the Western Pure Land or Land of Bliss, a realm of ultimate joy and perfect conditions for enlightenment. Amitabha is revered for his compassion and his vows to save all beings who call upon his name.

Consecration Service Available
Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
