Traditional Handcrafted Himalayan Bodhisattva Chenrezig Art Statue
We have traditionally hand-carved the Bodhisattva Chenrezig Art Statue in a pure copper body and gilded it with genuine 24k gold. The use of acrylic paint further highlights the intricate design patterns of the statue. Chenrezig is well regarded for keeping a kind eye on all sentient beings. The front two hands of the deity are folded in prayer, holding a wish-fulfilling jewel at his heart. At the same time, his two back arms hold a crystal rosary and a lotus flower in both his hands, respectively. We have exquisitely hand-crafted and adorned the crown with precious turquoise and corals. We have also embellished the ornaments with valuable jewels and pearls, which is mesmerizing. This Himalayan art will be a wonderful meditational gift from Nepal to a practitioner like you.

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
