Buddhist Handmade Bodhisattva Chenrezig Statue for Altar

This Handmade Bodhisattva Chenrezig Statue for Altar, also known as Avalokiteshvara, stands 11 inches tall and weighs 2.69 kg. Crafted from a copper body with 24K gold gilding and gemstones, it features detailed gold and acrylic paintings. Expertly created by skilled Nepali artisans, this statue reflects traditional craftsmanship and makes a meaningful addition to altars, meditation spaces, or spiritual collections.

In its iconography, Chenrezig is depicted seated in padmāsana (lotus posture) on a lotus base, with the hands in anjali mudrā holding a cintāmaṇi (wish-fulfilling jewel), symbolizing compassion and benevolence. The upper right hand holds a rosary (mālā) for counting mantras, and the upper left hand holds a utpala flower, representing purity. He wears a five-pointed crown, highlighting his enlightened status and spiritual presence.

Often depicted with multiple arms and eyes, Chenrezig symbolizes his ability to see and assist beings in all directions. His mantra, "Om Mani Padme Hum," is widely recited to cultivate compassion and loving kindness.
