The Bodhisattva of Compassion Chenrezig Handcrafted Statue, also known as Avalokiteshvara, measures 14”/35.5cm in height and 9.4”/24cm at the base, weighing 4.79 kg. Made from copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. This sculpture, handcrafted by expert Nepalese artisans, elegantly symbolizes Himalayan Buddhism's sacred traditions, making it an appropriate addition to altars, meditation places, or sacred collections.
The deity sits on a moon-disc lotus seat. A crystal rosary in the upper right-hand symbolizes the never-ending cycle of life, death, and regeneration. The lotus in the upper left-hand represents the deity's role in assisting mankind to overcome adversity and unpleasant conditions, including hellish realms. The lower hands are gently put in a namaste motion, grasping a wish-fulfilling Jewel. The deity's gentle and calm expression symbolizes compassion and calmness.
