He represents the path to enlightenment through wisdom and intellectual clarity, making him an important character in Buddhist teachings.

Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara) is a central figure in Mahayana Buddhism, representing compassion. His name, which means "The One Who Looks Down with Compassion," reflects his role as the Bodhisattva who hears the cries of all beings and responds with unconditional mercy. He is frequently shown with several arms, each representing a facet of his loving kindness and his capacity to assist multiple beings at once. His mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, is one of the most well-known in Buddhism and embodies the essence of compassionate action.

White Tara, a female bodhisattva, is connected with healing, longevity, and compassion. She is often called the "Mother of Liberation" and is known for her ability to protect from illness and extend life. White Tara is depicted with seven eyes—on her face, palms, and soles—symbolizing her vigilance and ability to see the suffering of all beings. Her serene and nurturing presence supports practitioners on the path to healing and spiritual growth.

Vajrapani is a powerful bodhisattva figure who embodies the strength and power of all Buddhas. His name, which means "Holder of the Vajra," reflects his role as the guardian of the Dharma and the remover of spiritual obstacles.
