Buddha of Eternal Life, Buddha Amitabha Sculpture for Your Buddhist Altar
We created this stunning gold statue of Buddha Amitabha in our studio using a traditional Himalayan carving technique passed down from generation to generation from Nepal. This piece is hand-carved out of oxidized copper, giving it a classic final appearance. The piece is hand-carved out of oxidized copper, providing it with an element of antiquity. In the statue, the Buddha is calmly sitting upon a moon disc lotus carrying an alms bowl over his lap carried with his two hands while performing the 'Dhyan Mudra,' a characteristic gesture of Amitabha Buddha. Our artists use hammers and chisels to carve intricately detailed motifs like in the Buddha's robe.
