Copper Statue of Medicine Buddha Artwork
This beautiful Buddha Medicine Statue was sculpted on a copper body in our Nepal studio. Our skills have been passed down through generations of sculpting artists. We've depicted him as a calm and peaceful figure seated in a beautifully carved lotus seat. In his left hand, he holds an alms bowl full of long-life nectar, and in his right hand, which is in an earth-touching mudra, he carries "great medicine," the myrobalan plant.
This statue of Healing Buddha can be a great gift for a practitioner like you from Nepal.

Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaishajyaguru in Sanskrit, is regarded as the Buddha of Healing. His teachings aim to free sentient beings from sickness, pain, anguish, and unhappiness while also emphasizing the need to acquire prosperity and enjoyment in this life. Many meditators in the Mahayana tradition admire his healing abilities. He is frequently shown with a blue (lapis lazuli) body and hands carrying a begging bowl and medical herbs.
