Traditionally Hand-Made Buddha Relaxation Statue
In our workshop, we hand-made this exquisite work of art, the Buddha Relaxation Statue, using century-old techniques handed down to us over generations. The figurine was carved on a copper body and finished with genuine 24-karat gold. One of the features of the statue is a hand-carved garment with complex embellishments embalmed in blue and red stone. He is depicted sitting on a moon disc lotus seat, looking tranquil and at peace. His left hand is holding an alms bowl, while his right hand is making the mudra of the earth touch. The main highlight of the statue is the intricate design patterns and the artistic placement of the gemstones. It takes a master artist to create such patterns with small hammers and chisels. To do so, one must have decades of experience.
This statue has accurate traditional iconography and fine details and will be a perfect gift to a devotee like you from Nepal.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
