Traditionally Crafted Buddha Shakyamuni Art
We have magnificently hand-carved the sculpture of Buddha Shakyamuni, also known as Siddartha Gautama Buddha, in traditional Himalayan Art. In this Tibetan statue, we have finely crafted the art in a copper body, gilded it with genuine 24k gold, and originally painted it with acrylic colors. The halo plated with gold and turquoise illuminates his face while the robe wrapped with arms to knee engulfs his presence, designed in a traditional Buddhist manner. You can use this statue on various Vajrayana occasions and in regular meditational activities. This indoor art will be a tremendous gift from Nepal to a practitioner like you.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
