Oxidized Copper Body Shakyamuni Buddha Sitting In Lotus Statue
We are a team of artisans who meticulously hand-carved the Shakyamuni Buddha Sitting In Lotus Statue in the Himalayas' style. Since ancient times, we have been carving Buddhist holy deities, adhering to Buddhist iconography. The image of Gautama Buddha at the time of his enlightenment shows him sitting on the moon disc of a lotus seat with a serene look. His left hand is holding an alms bowl, while his right hand is making the mudra of the soil. To mold the figurine, we used an oxidized copper body. Every intricate detail of the deity is hand-carved. We used a hammer and chisels for that.
This Copper Body Buddha Statue will be a perfect gift for a practitioner like you from Nepal.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
